Keshi (often spelt) “Keishi", "Keisha", "Kashi", "Keishe" “Kieshi” (various references of the Japanese
word for poppy seed pearls): traditionally used to describe Akoya seed pearls’ floral petal shape; creates an
association between the minuscule size of poppy seeds and Akoya seed pearls.  Also the term used for labeling
freshwater mantle tissue-nucleated pearls known as “cornflake pearls,” “petal pearls” and “seedless pearls” as well
as half-pearls created in the South Sea.

Stunning 19.25 inch Tahitian Keshi Pearl Necklace with pearls ranging from 8 to 12 mm and 14k Yellow Gold clasp.

Designed to be worn 3 ways:

1.) As a classic graduated pearl necklace (please refer to pictures 2 and 6).  Close the last pearl within the clasp.

As a Pearl Lariat:  2.) - Down the Front, or 3.) - Down the Back (picture 5). Close the 9th pearl within the clasp.

Clasp-pearl is separated from the 8 - 12 mm pearls by a .03 tcw Diamond Roundel.
